And, yeah, the pay did suck (the job perks obviously didn't, however), but poor Grumps makin' zip, too, lol ... I'm still workin' on his 'perk package' until we start getting advertisers in there ...
... POINT being ... you're still on the job, dude, cuz all those PERKS, ya' know, might not have been possible had we not had such a WORKPLACE to, uh, well ... do no work from, LOL ... besides -- TODAY'S SUCKED, TOOO!!!!!!!!!

Hey!! Just read Barb's comment to me from June 3rd (she was doing the same I was earlier, by commenting back to herself, lol -- but we're learnin') ... ANYWAY -- she's looking for some sorta' mini-marathon action for some weekend racing action to get herself & her family into the "experience", grin ...
Any suggestions for her? I suggested starting with Spartan Speedway, AND MIS, but don't know enough from experience with stuff around here -- thought you might be able to assist?? She's the "fiery" icon on my page, a PHENOM artist, and very, very good friend ... sooooo ... IF you have time, could you shoot her a comment with some advice on how to "introduce" some real racin' into her life?? (Be gentle, lol ... she's JUST getting into this and we don't wanna' scare her off!! J/K ... I think she'd enjoy the "cultural" experience, and so would her husband & son -- plus, she's got this GREAT invention for carryin' beverages (coffee, BEER, lol) where you can literally hold the strings in ONE finger with your arms full and it won't spill -- I think race fans EVERYwhere would love this thing, so it'd be a great venue for her to check out another one of her prospective "markets", etc.)
ANYway -- just thought you might be able to help "advise", as I'm afraid I'm suckin' in that department today!! We should get Kathy & Bruce involved, too, so I'll copy this to them ... if I can figure out HOW, lol ... geeeez -- and I haven't even LOOKED at anglerred yet today -- Grump's gonna' shoot me, lol ...
OK! If you guys have time, it'd be a great help to her, and I'd sure appreciate it, cuz you guys do more of this locally than I do (have been ABLE to lately, anyway, sigh) ... in ANY case -- get those damned SSB singers in order (read my comment to Kathy on subject, lol), will ya'??? NCTS was one ya' needed to be slapped upside the head for, silly ... you obviously handed THAT project off to someone else -- yeeeesh!!

(PS -- if you guys need a place to crash closer to MIS on the weekend?? LET ME KNOW!! I have a roomamte now (literal roommate-roommate), but I'm SURE it'd be fine with him -- just a bit cramped for all of us, but you're both WELCOME HERE, and don't forget that!! Let me know -- I can't even remember when MIS IS, lol)
