Hey -- didn't even SEE your last post to me -- how'd THAT happen?? OH - I know -- same thing that happened to ME, LOL ... you've gotta' go to the bottom of the post and hit "comment back" so it goes to the other person's page, OR, straight TO their page -- that's how that works. (As Grump noted to me, telling me that reading my page was like reading me talking to myself (always a dangerous notion) until I started responding TO people vs. to myself, lol, lol ... OOOPS)
ANYWAY -- SPARTAN Speedway is in Mason -- really close -- that's a trip and a riot, and dirt tracks just like it are where all the big-guys (at least most of the mid-range aged guys) got their starts -- REAL grass roots stuff. It's right off of 99, so you can't miss it! (Wait -- isn't Mason off of 99? lol ... let me know and I'll MapQuest it for you -- I haven't been by there in a loooooong time, so can't quite remember at the moment!)
That's "local" stuff ... THEN -- there's MIS, of course, in Irish Hills ... but do ya' wanna' start THAT big?? Scary, grin ... but you'd love it, especially if you get garage/pit passes. If you can wrangle an all-access (I'll try to think of a printer we no longer work with which YOU still might who does a lot of free work for MIS and thus gets a lot of extra passes -- can't remember who he is, at the moment, but he's a real ass) ... cuz the grandstands?? EEEEK!!!!
I have vertigo issues, anyway, but they're REAL crowded, REALLY hot, and MAN ... whew ... I couldn't handle it for more than 10 minutes, myself ... yet there's NOTHING LIKE BEING THERE!! You'd be hooked, immediately!! (Just go low, central, if you can -- better seats, better view up close, and a little less vertigo-stuff involved, though you won't be able to see the backstretch -- yet you'll still have the jumbo-trons, etc. to see the broadcast stuff & replays, etc.)
SOOOOO ... you let me know what SORT of mini-marathon you guys might wanna' do, and I'll also involve Isi and Kathy and BK -- they're all from MI and do the MIS thing, etc. regularly -- they could probably help with this one a LOT!!
(Supportive?? What's not to support??? grin ... you're amazing!! Just wait'll we get that 3B deal up and rollin' -- sorry it's been delayed, but I'll explain later, and maybe we can get down TO it next week -- mid-week, pending your schedule? At least we can get a draft in the works, then launch the post, etc. around Friday so it hits max readers ... can discuss Mon/Tues per email if you want! Don't let me forget!!!)
Ok, darlin' -- HAPPY RACE DAY, lol!! (Pocono's my favorite race for actually getting LAUNDRY DONE, grin ... long, long, long, and lotsa' time for folding between cautions, hehe)
In case the rest of you haven't noticed, my friend here is a pretty supportive sort of girl...gotta love it!
Guys -- this woman paints everything from tiny shit you need to see with a microscope to major building murals, and mostly in between -- gorgeous EVERYTHING ... you've seriously gotta' visit her site(s) and see her "in action" ... well ... at least when I work up her confidence to be SEEN in action, anyway, grin ...
So, yeah -- but remember -- they DO race mini-Coopers ... I mean it -- they DO!! So, see?? You're already alllllll set!! (We just have to jet that little thing to Europe ... but I'm pretty sure it'll fit in my carry-on, so, again -- we're SET!!

So - no smiling face, just some hot bitches. As for speed...even as a kid I never like to go fast on my bike...but I can paint pretty fast. Guess that has to count.
Hmmmm ... on the upload doneness deal ... maybe the pic was too large? Was it a jpg? That's what mine was, which is maybe why it uploaded, if limited types of those .whatevers are accepted here? jpg's and tiffs seem to be pretty standard fare for blogs, etc., though -- does that help? I'd ask Marc, but he's still busy trying to figure out where he left his ... lol -- I'm just kidding, Marc ... geeez ...
Let me know if you keep trying and nothing works yet -- or, ask Marc, and I'm actually pretty sure he'd know what sorta' files work and which ones won't ... or, send ME the image and I'll see what I can do with it to make it more like mine, which DID load, ok?
AND ... don't worry about constant hangin' ... days can go by -- weeks sometimes -- between comments, etc. It's all good. NO pressure. Just come as you are, when you please -- that's what this stuff is designed to do. (I'll just give ya' a heads-up when I'm about to wax poetic about the 3B's or somethin', ok? You'll prob'ly wanna' be around for some of that, grin ...)
There's also a cool "gadget" section, where you can add it to your page if you want -- more than a FEW cool ones, but some that allow for global chats, etc., and not just about racin', I'm sure. When you have time, you might wanna' look at your page's "gadget" options -- even to put in your own blogs!
