"DRIVE it 'til it's done."
What led up to/followed this definitive statement on the subject: 'You're not wrecked yet, no matter how bad it looks, if you refuse to surrender control until the car comes to a FULL stop, so don't act like an idiot and throw up your arms in fear when you're in a spin. In fact, now that I've taught you HOW to spin whenever & wherever you want, that'll cease at least that part of your apparent issue with speed. Now, about those Officers Friendly out there currently chompin' at the bit to harass you -- remember -- they know you're MY daughter, so, while I'm sorry about that part ... here comes your lesson in eluding ...' grin (True, true, true ... God, how I miss him.)
There's soooo much more he taught me about honor, loyalty, courage, etc. -- but I won't bore you with that stuff, lol ...
Best thing I've learned from Mom:
"Love deeply, and God help anyone who messes with family."
I actually include my 'chosen' family in that whole concept, by the way, in terms of friends I've bonded with, in many cases, even more closely than I ever have or will with my blood relatives. But, uh ... well ... if you think I'M scary, creepy Irish-pissed-off sometimes? Don't EVER mess with Mom, lol ... she makes me look like a harmless, half-dead kitten when she's protecting one of her own -- whew -- talk about scary!! Though, she's a consummate lady, through and through, and her depths of love, grace, selflessness and loyalty are quite fathomless. (Of course, I apparently missed that whole "lady" part of the family gene pool, much as this amazing woman has TRIED to amend that problette, lol ... oops. Sorry, Mom ... sometimes the Cosmos has other plans, grin ...)

Uh ... still waiting on that one, lol -- JUST kidding. Seriously -- "never be afraid to refuse to compromise your opinion." grin ... just kidding on that one, too. SORTA'. I've learned lots from this great man, and have much incredibly SINCERE respect for this often cantankerous nut, grin ...
So ... anything more "about me" and I'm gonna' wanna' toss somethin' across the room, and since my cp's closest at the moment & I sorta' need it for my work -- that's about it "about me", grin ... (WHY did you demand this from us, Marc??? grrrrrrrrrrrr ... and downsize that freakin pic, already, would ya'?? lol)
